Course Description
Florida’s network of workforce development professionals manages the Employment and Training component of the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP. This course is designed to help those professionals manage the program effectively and help ABAWDs become self-sufficient.
In Part Two of this course bundle, we go beyond the basics and move through the remainder of the SNAP E&T case life-cycle, beginning with a discussion of the all-important Initial Appointment. We'll also review crucial case management practices and specific requirements for verifying, calculating and recording JPRs in OSST. This module also covers key details on SNAP E&T's sanction process, Food Stamp Reimbursements, and the Florida Job Connect system. All along the way, you'll learn important rules of thumb and best practices that can help foster your region’s success. Note: Course access ends 90 days after registration.
