Course Description

This course gives you an understanding of requirements associated with the procurement of goods and services for grant-funded Workforce Development Agencies, including federal procurement guidelines (2 CFR 200 – Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards), various procurement methods, and procurement policies and procedures. Also included are recent revisions to 2 CFR 200 with an effective date of November 12, 2020. Additionally, we review some common monitoring issues related to procurement.

You'll also learn the importance of distinguishing between subrecipients and vendors when spending federal funds, the subrecipient risk-assessment process, and invoicing requirements.

Course access ends 90 days after registration.

NOTE: While this course uses examples related to agencies within the state of Florida, the federal procurement and purchasing issues discussed apply broadly to all U.S. state or municipal agencies.
