The initial course in THMP Workforce Academy’s Finance Series is essential to effectively overseeing your organization’s financial operations. You'll gain an understanding of both the federal and Florida's state workforce system structures, as well as the regulatory environment —including fiscal oversight responsibilities for grant funding. Key topics include:

    U.S. Department of Labor; Florida's State Board, CareerSource Florida, and Department of Economic Opportunity

  • 2 CFR 200

    Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (plus example demonstrations on researching key info)

  • Funding Streams

    WIOA, TANF, Wagner-Peyser, SNAP and their specific programmatic parameters

  • Fiscal Oversight

    Illustration of key elements, using a typical Budget-to-Actual report
