Course Description

This video-based course provides Florida case managers with a thorough understanding of how an effective Individual Responsibility Plan (IRP) can help drive both performance success and program participant self-sufficiency. We begin with a broad overview of the history of the Welfare Transition Program (WTP), followed by an explanation of why an IRP is required for each open case and exactly when they should be created and/or updated. Lastly, you’ll review the specific, required elements that every IRP must contain, as well as best practices for ensuring compliance and increasing performance success.
